Costco Wholesale chooses EngagePHD to power the e-commerce digital signage network within their warehouse clubs.

EngagePHD™ gives the wholesale chain the ability to strategically push online marketing content in real-time to many of their US warehouses.

Ping HD, a leading provider of digital signage software solutions has partnered with Costco Wholesale to roll out the award-winning EngagePHD™ content management platform to power their in-store e-commerce digital signage displays.

Costco chose EngagePHD™ because of its flexibility, scalability and overall ease of use compared to that of other digital signage content management systems they tested.

Costco Wholesale has historically announced member-only specials and announcements on their website, limiting the reach of these messages solely to their online audience. In an effort to expand the visibility of these messages, connected displays with external Android media players have been installed in select locations around the store.

The cloud-based digital signage software platform installed on these media players gives the Costco e-commerce team a new vertical to strategically target and push digital content in real-time to any warehouse with an installed display. Costco started rolling out the software onto their in-store displays in October 2017. To date, EngagePHD™ is actively running in roughly 200 US Costco locations.
